In today’s fast-moving business world, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation are reshaping how entrepreneurs build, grow, and scale. From automating routine operations to uncovering powerful customer insights, AI is no longer a futuristic concept — it’s now a key part of modern business strategy.
At Crowd2Fund, we’ve seen firsthand how AI is revolutionising the fintech sector. But it’s not just about speeding things up — it’s about creating space for smarter thinking, deeper creativity, and better outcomes. We sat down with our back-end developer, Rasti Hasan, to explore how AI is enhancing the developer experience and what entrepreneurs should expect from the next wave of innovation.
AI as a Creative Collaborator
“AI isn’t just a tool for boosting productivity,” Rasti explains.
“It’s also incredibly useful in guiding how we prioritise and evolve products by analysing user behaviour and feedback.”
For founders and product teams, this means smarter decision-making around what features to build — and when.
“AI assistants can be great collaborators,” Rasti adds. “They help generate fresh and interesting ideas for product development and design. That creative support is what’s really exciting.”
The Changing Role of Developers
As AI becomes more integrated into platforms and workflows, Rasti believes the role of developers will naturally shift:
“In five years, I think most developers will spend less time writing code and more time defining problems — guiding AI tools to make sure their solutions align with business goals. That doesn’t mean coding will disappear altogether. AI is only as good as the data it’s trained on. It can still get things wrong — even something as basic as the Quicksort algorithm! Developers will always be needed to review, refine, and make sure things work properly.”
AI Tools in Action
So, how does Rasti use AI in his day-to-day work?
“I use CoPilot and Windsurf for writing boilerplate code in my editor,” he shares.“And I use ChatGPT a lot — for brainstorming, problem-solving, and even as a writing partner. It saves a lot of time and helps me think more clearly.”
These tools don’t replace developers — they free them up to focus on the more strategic, human aspects of the job.
What This Means for Entrepreneurs
For founders, startups, and growing SMEs, the message is clear: it's time to embrace AI and digitisation.
But just as importantly, AI can fuel creativity, helping founders and product teams imagine new ways of solving problems and delivering value.
