We are seeking a motivated and skilled Broker Relations Associate with 1- 3 years of experience to join our team. As a key player in our originations department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective brokers. Your focus will be on generating leads, executing sales strategies, and providing exceptional support to our network of brokers to achieve their targets and promote our services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the fintech industry and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new brokers, understanding their clients needs and delivering personalised service to enhance their experience with the company.
  • Actively seek out and engage with potential brokers through networking, cold-calling, and other sales strategies to expand the broker network.
  • Provide accurate information about our services, products, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted campaigns for broker and direct client channels to increase brand visibility.

Qualification

We are looking for someone with administrative and customer relations experience, to support the team with the day-to-day operations of the platform and to be the primary point of contact for investors.

Responsibilities
  • Producing and distributing documentation for new loans.
  • Execute tasks related to loan applications and fund transfers.
  • Completing final security checks and drawdown of funds to businesses .
  • Business and lender support.
  • Liaise with the tech team to solve any issues reported by clients.
  • Support for existing businesses, including inquiries about account statements, the status of payments, settlements, etc., and referring them to sales if interested in further funding.
  • Maintain the company's operations manual and update as required.
  • Other ad hoc tasks such as support for requested reports/audits, support on ISA transfers, marketing and support for wider team.
  • Process withdrawal requests from platform users twice a day.
  • Manage platform user complaints; send out a Complaint Acknowledgement letter and Complaint Resolution letter.
Qualification

As a student at University College London pursuing a degree in Economics and Business with East European Studies, Daniel interned at Crowd2Fund during summer in 2023. He previously worked as a Private Banking summer intern at a Czech branch of Société Générale.

Daniel was involved in a range of projects and ad hoc assignments. These tasks included aiding in the implementation of collections and recoveries strategies developed by his senior colleagues, conducting competitor analysis, implementing improvements and possible platform innovations, conducting international financial research, and enhancing support and communication channels.

Daniel is passionate about the financial industry, and this fast-paced internship gave him a rich understanding of various operations within this sector, as he was given a chance to work on many projects from different departments.
