Trapasso: Redefining Luxury Living in London

23rd May 2025

At Crowd2Fund, we champion the bold, the visionary, and the entrepreneurial.

Trapasso Properties is exactly that. Co-founded by two school friends turned business partners, this standout London-based brand is reshaping what it means to experience luxury accommodation in one of the world’s most competitive markets.

Focused on ultra-prime short-term stays, Trapasso is not just a hospitality company—it’s a lifestyle and asset platform. With a growing network of elite clients, a reputation built on discretion and service, and a laser-sharp operating model, this is a business built for scale and long-term value.

We caught up with co-founders, Michael and Aidan, to hear their story.

Can you tell us a bit about your journey before launching the business?

Before launching Trapasso Properties, Michael and I actually went to school together. Funny enough, we weren’t close until later in secondary school — but when we connected, we immediately aligned on something deeper: ambition. We both wanted more from life.

Michael naturally gravitated towards sales and people, and I was always drawn to systems, strategy, and structure. I left university early to pursue property full-time, convinced that there was a gap in how luxury accommodation in London was being handled. I knew there was a smarter, more elevated way to do it — and that’s what we’ve built with Trapasso.

What was your original vision when starting out?

The goal was never to just run another Airbnb agency. It was to create a brand and operating model that could rival hotel-level hospitality — but delivered through curated, off-market homes in London’s most prestigious areas.

We wanted high-net-worth clients to trust us the same way they trust Harrods Estates or a private bank — not just for a place to stay, but for a full lifestyle experience. That’s always been the guiding vision: exclusivity, discretion, and quality.

What excites you most about being an entrepreneur?

The speed at which you can make ideas real. Every day we wake up with challenges, but also complete freedom to build solutions. Seeing the business grow from a few listings to handling properties that house celebrities, billionaires, and C-suite execs — that’s what excites me.

More importantly, entrepreneurship lets me create a company that reflects my standards, my discipline, and my long-term ambitions.

What’s something about your business you’re particularly proud of?

Our reputation. In a market full of operators focused on margin and churn, we’ve stayed focused on quality — and it’s paid off.

We now have homes that command £30,000+ per week, partnerships with Sotheby’s, Harrods Estates, relocation agencies, and clients coming back again and again because they know we deliver.

We’ve also reinvested 100% of our profits back into growth. That long-term mindset is something I’m proud we’ve held onto.

What sets you apart from your competitors?

Two things: our network and our standards.

We have deep access to the right clientele — through the UAE, the U.S., and institutional channels — and we understand what those clients want.

And then we deliver: not just with beautiful homes, but with a trained team, concierge service, and operations that are obsessively managed.

Most short-let companies focus on volume. We focus on reputation, detail, and consistency.

What do you find most exciting about running your business?

Scaling something that actually matters to people. Whether it’s a relocation family who feels at home, or a high-profile client who says, “that was flawless,” — it’s that sense of trust and delivery that keeps me going.

And the idea that this isn’t just a property company — it’s the foundation of something much bigger: a lifestyle brand, an asset platform, and a trusted name in the ultra-prime space.

What is your business’s mission, and what values does your company hold?

Our mission is to redefine how luxury real estate is experienced in London.

We want to become the go-to brand for ultra-high-net-worth guests looking for fully serviced, secure, and stunning short-to-mid-term homes.

Our values are simple:

Discipline — in how we operate
Integrity — in how we treat partners and clients
Excellence — in every home we manage and guest we serve

What attracted you to working with Crowd2Fund?

Crowd2Fund feels aligned with how we think: smart capital, transparent terms, and a community of investors who understand the power of brand and systems in property.

We’re not raising to cover losses — we’re raising to scale what already works. Crowd2Fund allows us to do that while building relationships with people who believe in long-term growth.

What’s your vision for the future of the company?

In the short term, we’re targeting £10 million+ in annual revenue with properties fully managed under our concierge and tech-enabled framework.

Longer term, we aim to expand Trapasso to global luxury cities — New York, Dubai, Hong Kong — and evolve into a brand that’s recognised globally for elite stays and asset performance.

But everything starts in London — and we’re building that foundation right now.
