THE INTERNET RETAILER LIMITED
After raising three successful rounds with a perfect repayment history, we are delighted to have The Internet Retailer Ltd return. They use e-commerce to sell home & garden items online, via it’s own website, Amazon, eBay & On buy marketplaces. They sell a range of brands but their main USP is that they create their own brands. Funds raised will be used for extra items to be sourced & stock purchase.
Bring design led functional products to the worldwide market place
We sell a wide variety of brands but our main USP is that we create our own brands. So we ‘own the buy box, rather than win the buy box. Two brand examples are: “Gardi,” a gardening brand that currently has products in the top 20 for gardening tools on Amazon.co.uk. Another brand of ours is “illucio” which offers a full range of electrical accessories for home and office spaces.
The way we all retail is changing fundamentally & will do as the internet continues to develop. The public is realising that the internet gives the power to shop when they want & use their shopping time more productively. Providing a service which is effortless and convenient for our customers is a priority. We have over 20 members of our team working 7 days a week to supply our customers with the ultimate shopping experience.
We are thrilled about this next phase of expansion. Funds raised will allow extra items to be sourced & stock, both in our warehouse in Forest Row, East Sussex, but equally at Amazon warehousing, allowing same day prime deliveries. Generally we work towards a landed product by sea only costing £5, typically by 1,000 units = £5,000, our gross sale price multiplier with discounting is between x3 & x5, allowing a typical average margin net of fees & VAT of 50%, turning the £5,000 stock investment into £10,000 net, over a period of 3-9 months. Extra working capital will be also used to load stock for seasonal items & re-load stock that needs a top-up for extra growth in sales.
