Founded in my spare bedroom in 2004, The Big Bag Broker has grown into a company with nearly 20 employees in the UK, EU, Australia and Dubai. I am multilingual; speaking Danish, English, Mandarin Chinese and some German, this along with my core expertise in how to do business in the Far East has helped with the brands growth internationally.
With years of experience providing high quality product bags and food packaging materials, we have the expertise and knowledge to help with virtually any kind of query in the field. We offer 100% recyclable packaging and are dedicated to packaging solutions at reasonable rates. Funds raised will go towards increasing stock and further expansion.
The director is providing a personal guarantee, this means that if the business fails, the director becomes personally liable for the loan. The director has a limited credit file and is a non-homeowner, which is outside credit policy. However, a mitigant for this credit policy exception is that the business is well-established. There have been no CCJs for the business or directors. The bank statements demonstrate reasonable affordability. The accounts remain well in credit and disclose a good level of working capital.
The Bag Broker is an e-commerce business and has proved good resilience and strong retail growth during the pandemic.
