Ecosse, trading as Pines & Needles, was founded by two brothers with a passion for the magic of Christmas and representing their Scottish heritage. They are now the premier Christmas tree growers and retailers, with over 20 stores in London offering a variety of high-quality trees and a range of specialist services like tree collection and recycling, as well as high-end decorating. With the funds raised, Pines & Needles will buy further stock to prepare for the upcoming busy season.
Bringing luxury festivities to life
We are Ecosse, trading as Pines & Needles, a family-run business growing and supplying stunning Christmas trees throughout the UK. Our story began with the Lyle brothers, who grew up selling the Christmas trees grown in their family farm in Scotland. They wanted to make the tree-buying experience a magical family occasion, and quickly went from strength to strength. In 2016 we bought a second plantation, doubling our capacity to grow trees, and in 2017 acquired The Christmas Forest, which helped expand our portfolio of stores in London, currently totalling 22 locations.
Our services cover all your luxury decorating needs. We grow and stock the finest quality Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce trees for those who want a truly authentic experience, as well as low-maintenance artificial trees. For the more elaborate brief, we also supply show-stopping large and specialist trees. Our dedicated tree decoration service makes the process stress-free, with our expert team having been involved in some of London's greatest Christmas events, or customers can choose themselves from our fantastic selection of lights, baubles, and wreaths. To make the buying experience as smooth as possible, we also offer online delivery nationwide, plus tree collection and recycling.
Of course, the build-up to Christmas is our busiest time of year. During this period, we like to give humanitarian workers usually based in third world countries and conflict zones the opportunity to join our team and build lasting relationships. We've hit many milestones, such as supplying a tree for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and are proud to have been featured in publications such as the Evening Standard, the Independent, and the Telegraph. To continue this success, the funds raised will go towards stock purchase for the upcoming season.
