The directors Keri and Warren Jackson are providing a personal guarantee, which means should the business fail and have insufficient assets within the business to repay the loan, we can look to the guarantor(s) to repay any shortfall on repayment. There have been no CCJs for the business or director. Our assessment of risk is There have been no CCJs for the business or director. The Equifax score and grade, which we use to assess risk, are based on the 2022 accounts. The funds will be utilized to repay the loan from Swish Fund, and the total indebtedness will not increase. C2Fs policy allows up to 67% of the advance to refinance debt, but we have made an exception in this case since the customer is an existing one. As agreed with the directors, the C2F loan will directly pay off the Swish Fund Loan and with reduced payments, it will improve the business’s cash flow, limiting the risks to C2F investors. While both directors are homeowners, this does not guarantee that there are sufficient assets for loan recovery. We have discovered that personal indebtedness and guarantees for loans made to the business will not be covered by the equity in the director’s property. This is a credit policy exception, but it is mitigated by the fact that the customer has a high level of debt serviceability.
