Elevating homes, crafting dreams.

As the proud owner of Appletree Kitchens, my journey began with a passion for design and an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. I had always envisioned a space where people could turn their dream kitchens and personalized bedroom ideas into reality without breaking the bank. With a team of highly experienced designers and skilled fitting teams, in 2005 we set out to create a studio that would deliver exceptional results and earn a reputation for affordability, quality, and utmost customer happiness. Before venturing into the world of Appletree Kitchens, each member of our team spent a good 20 years honing their skills in the industry. We worked as designers and managers, immersing ourselves in every aspect of the kitchen business. Those years of experience were invaluable, shaping us into the experts we are today.

We take pride in being select retailers of top-tier brands in the region, boasting exclusive partnerships with renowned names like Second Nature and 1909. This allows us to offer our valued customers access to some of the finest products in the industry, ensuring that their dream spaces are built with the best materials and craftsmanship available. What sets us apart from our competitors, is our diverse background in Systems Design and IT. These skills allowed us to go the extra mile in streamlining our processes, making our operations efficient and seamless.

As the owner of Appletree Kitchens, I am filled with immense pride for what we've accomplished thus far. Witnessing the satisfaction on our customers' faces as their dream spaces come to life fuels our passion and commitment each day. We take great pride in being a family-run business and celebrating the spirit of entrepreneurship, with a strong woman leader at the helm. Our 4.2-star rating is a testament to our team's dedication and hard work in delivering exceptional results and ensuring customer happiness. We have big plans to expand and reach more customers, but we'll never compromise on the values that have brought us success—excellence, creativity, and customer-centricity.

Risk Commentary
The directors are providing a personal guarantee, which means that if the business fails the directors become personally liable for the loan. While the company has acquired further lending in recent months. The director states the purpose of this loan is to consolidate other loans and purchase necessary materials for the business. As part of the agreement made with the director, this C2F loan will directly settle some of Appletree’s outstanding loans. Hence, this loan will improve the business's cash flow and consequently limit the risks to C2F investors. One of the directors is a homeowner, however, this does not ensure that there are sufficient assets should the loan need to be recovered. We have performed our assessment on recent financial information, which was not available to Equifax. Turnover for the 6-month period was £425,822, while EBITA was £54,485.

Inflation risk
As the majority of lending to the business is at a fixed rate, they will not be immediately affected by interest rate increases.
