We’re excited to welcome Oliver to the Crowd2Fund team as our new Business Support & Operations lead. With a passion for keeping things running smoothly and a background in varied roles, Oliver brings a versatile and proactive approach to operations. Drawn to the team’s ambition and inspired by our vision for growth, he’s already making a meaningful impact across a range of projects.
In his own words, he's “a man who wears many hats” – and that’s exactly what makes him such a great fit for this fast-paced, dynamic role.
What attracted you to join Crowd2Fund?
There are numerous factors that attracted me to Crowd2Fund. Firstly, I thought the team were really impressive; throughout the interview process, I was very engaged with my now colleagues and inspired by their backstories. Toby has come in recently and has his own vision, which is very motivating and exciting to be a part of.
I have done a bit of everything and that was what really attracted me to this role, as I will be assisting in a broad range of projects.
How do you describe your role in one sentence?
I’m a man who wears many hats.
How do you stay organised and keep things running smoothly?
I have a solid morning routine and then once at work, track my tasks and projects along with allocating time throughout the day to focus on certain priorities which can sometimes change based on circumstances.
Always in ops?
Yes, I really enjoy ops due to the variety and intensity of the work.
What motivates you to do your best work every day?
I hold myself to high standards and I am not content if I am unproductive and not doing my job competently. This alone motivates me to do my best work each day.
How do you like to unwind after a busy day?
I really like to play tennis, especially on a beautiful summer evening.
Tea or coffee to get you through the day?
Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon - in all honesty, whatever sorts me out, I’m not too fussed!
