Tom and Ollie (NI) was established to promote the continuity of the finest Irish and European produce. With roots in the delicatessen industry, they're regulars at St George's Market, Belfast, and have their own headquarters and retail space in Broughshane, County Antrim. Tom and Ollie sell the freshest, locally-sourced mezze foods, from hummus to olives, pesto to cheese, through retail, wholesale, and catering. Having recently won a large contract, they're looking to buy more stock to facilitate upcoming contracts.
Irish and European produce, always market-fresh
At Tom and Ollie (NI), we're artisan producers of pesto, tapenades, hummus, and sun dried tomatoes. Established by three experts in the field, with over 15 years of delicatessen experience, we are regulars at St George's Market in Belfast, as well as various farmer's markets across Ireland. We champion fresh and locally-produced products, from Ireland and Europe: as agents for MezzeMagic, we have excellent European contacts for olives, pesto, tapenade, and hummus, with over 65 lines made locally in Broughshane. Recently, we opened a new production facility and weekend deli in Broughshane, County Antrim, the base for our headquarters. Our passion is also accredited, as we're members of Food NI and are SALSA approved.
As well as market trade, we have three further channels for sales, and an exciting new venture in the pipeline. We have a retail range in attractive packaging, for which we won the chance to stock in Lidl stores last year. A large portion of our revenue comes from wholesale, with all products, from antipasti to vegetables and our mezze favourites, all packed fresh in Ireland. In addition, we offer bespoke catering services, specialising in wedding cheese cakes and mezze platters for any occasion.
As for future plans, we're set to soon launch an online service, with over 300 products available for next day delivery throughout Ireland, an area which is currently unrivalled. This exciting project is underway and we aim to launch this coming October. Recently, we won a large contract which enabled us to double our turnover and profits. We purchase our stock in bulk for the best profit margin, and therefore will use the funds raised in this campaign to facilitate new contracts in preparation for the next stage of our business.
