Established in 2013 by founder and CEO Matthew Davison, Spot2Spot Limited is a broadband and telephone service provider that works across the residential and commercial markets. Their business is improving the UK’s telecommunications infrastructure by providing quality, high-speed connections. They are currently seeking funds for working capital and expansion to continue their growth.

Our mission is to improve the UK’s telecommunications infrastructure with quality high speed connections.

Based in Stockton-on-tees, United Kingdom, Spot2Spot is working to improve telecommunications by providing high speed internet connections. We are accredited to ISO 27001 Information Security Management and are a Microsoft Silver Partner. Spot2Spot specialises in network planning, fibre build and maintenance services, IT and technical support services and bespoke software, programming and web development.

We are proud to say that socially, we are facilitating growth by playing a major part in the modernising of outdated infrastructure, particularly in neglected areas of the
country. Spot2spot is building a solid platform to push economic development in our area. We are building multiple integrated XSeries Servers and Data Centres which will attract industry to
the area by providing fast new network solutions and high speed connections to our businesses. At Spot2Spot we pride ourselves in investing in people, with continued training of staff and the investment in creating and providing jobs for the local area. By providing graduate and apprentice schemes, we are committed to becoming investors in people accredited.

The company is growing rapidly with a solid client base. To meet the demands of our clients we have had to upscale continuously since the founding of the business. Our core values include: Integrity, honesty, diversity and inclusion, teamwork and passion. We are committed to providing our clients with a great experience. We’ve seen great expansion and are currently seeking funds for working capital.

Credit commentary:
The director is providing a personal guarantee, this means that if the business fails, the director becomes personally liable for the loan. The director is not a homeowner, which is a credit policy exception. The mitigant for this credit policy exception is that turnover and gross margin have improved, and the business is profitable and well established. There have been no CCJs for the business or director. The Equifax score and grade, on which we base our assessment of risk, are based on the 2021 accounts. We have performed our assessment on recent financial information, including 2022 management accounts, which were not available to Equifax. The bank statements demonstrate reasonable affordability and the accounts remain well in credit.

Covid Resilience:
Like many businesses, the pandemic created obstacles for Spot2Spot Ltd. However, these challenges were overcome and the company proved good resilience.
