PayRosa Construction Limited is a structural timberwork and acoustic flooring specialist. They supply and install all manner of acoustic flooring, from acoustic cradles to acoustic screedboard. Their structural timberwork is supplemented by structural steel work. PayRosa primarily provides support to residential and commercial construction projects, operating alongside the primary contractor for each project. They are preparing for 14 months of back to back contracts.

To be a one-stop shop for our partners who can assist them from the tendering phase until the completion of the structural works.

I have been in the construction industry since 2003, and bring 20 years of experience with me, including international work. Some of my earliest work included government contracts building 4-5 storey apartment blocks in major cities. Now I lead PayRosa, and have been doing so for over a decade. PayRosa has been very successful in the last year with tendering, having secured carpentry packages in prestigious areas of London including Lancaster Gate in Bayswater and Charles Street in Mayfair.

Here at PayRosa, we pride ourselves on our structural work in both timber and steel, but our real focus is acoustic flooring. Acoustic flooring is designed to provide sound cushioning and noise insulation and has myriad uses in both commercial and residential capacities. Whether for a recording studio, or improved privacy for living spaces, acoustic flooring is continuously popular. Don’t believe us? We’re coming up on 14 consecutive months of contracts that should take us to the middle of next year in consistent & profitable work. After installing over 100,000m2, we definitely aren’t lacking in experience.

We’re a CHAS accredited contractor, in operation for over 15 years. Our quality workmanship has landed us work alongside a number of high-end contractors such as Lansgrove, Project One London, and Westgreen. We’re proud to be a trusted provider of structural timberwork and specialist flooring services to well respected construction contractors.

Credit commentary
The director Viktor Nagy is providing a personal guarantee, which means should the business fail and have insufficient assets within the business to repay the loan, we can look to the guarantor(s) to repay any shortfall on repayment. There have been no CCJs for the business or director. Our assessment of risk is There have been no CCJs for the business or director. The Equifax score and grade, which we use to assess risk, are based on the 2023 accounts. The company primarily engages in on-site structural carpentry work without any off-site fabrication or preparation. As a result, it doesn’t have any fixed assets and uses smaller construction and office equipment. According to the filled accounts, the company has a total EBITDA of £98k, which is sufficient to cover interest, existing debt payments, and the proposed facility. Also, the company’s turnover has increased by 82% between 2022 and 2023, indicating growth. DSC stands at 2.82 and net gearing is at 128%, indicating high financial risk due to the industry. The bank statements from the previous months suggest that the company has maintained a consistent and positive cash flow.

Inflation Risk
As the majority of lending to the business is at a fixed rate, they will not be immediately affected by interest rate increases. The company has a healthy minimum gross profit margin of 35%. Construction material costs have stabilized in the last 12 months, so they don’t expect significant inflation. Their timberwork specialists usually start working within weeks of signing the contract, so they don’t have to guarantee prices for extended periods like other trades at the finishing stages of construction.
