Making it possible to turn any railway model into something very special.
Any business is simply the sum of its people’s abilities and attitudes. I have over 40 years hands on experience in the industry. I believe that alongside my experience and passion, it is the staff that has allowed for the continual growth of the company. All new staff bring to the company a constantly widening range of modelling skills and experience. We all love the hobby and we care about quality in modelling – we love to teach and help too. As real modellers attract other modellers, all those who provide help and services to us are from the same mould – “can do” people with excellent skills who will not compromise the quality of their results for anything, whether they are doing it for themselves OR for you! Because of this we truly appreciate how much models mean to our customers, and understand the issues relating to railway modelling and DCCConcepts intimately.
We are leaders in the sector, with a 4.9 star rating on Google and many returning customers. With our history, innovation and positive attitudes, we have developed a reputation of excellence within the sector. Currently, we are in a phase of expansion and seeking funds for stock purchase. We are delighted about this opportunity to further growth.
Like many businesses across the UK, DCConcepts faced challenges during the pandemic. However, they overcame these and are in a good position.
The director is providing a personal guarantee, this means that if the business fails, the director becomes personally liable for the loan. The director is not a homeowner, which is outside credit policy. The mitigants for this credit policy exception are that this is a well capitalised, established and profitable business with high margins. There have been no CCJs for the business or director. In 2020 and 2021, other operating income was £24,551 and £31,234. The admin expenses in 2020 and 2021 were £366,638 and £602,910. The admin expenses in the 2020 to 2021 financial table below includes the addition of other operating income. The bank statements demonstrate reasonable affordability.
