Located in Islington, Blitz Hospitality, trading as Comedor Grill and Bar, is a fantastic restaurant giving an Argentinian twist to seasonal, British ingredients. Specialising in mouth-watering steaks, ordered by the 100g, they've received acclaim from customers and critics alike, with glowing reviews and awards from the likes of TripAdvisor and OpenTable. They're raising funds to revamp their premises and maximise their newly obtained late license by creating a Latin party venue.

Bringing Argentinian flavour to London

At Blitz Hospitality we trade as Comedor, meaning 'dining room' in Spanish. This is our ethos: to capture the diversity of South American food for everyone to enjoy. From lounging lunches to late weekend parties, we cover every essence of good food, good drinks, and a good time. All our dishes are seasonal and celebrate British produce, cooked the Argentinian way. Our speciality is steak, which you can order starting at 300g and go as large as you'd like! We also offer the ability to customise your steak, choosing marinade, sauce, and garnish to make the dish truly unique.

We've been trading for a few years and have received excellent reviews throughout this duration. For example, we're proud to have been named the OpenTable winner of the Diners' Choice Award 2016; to have received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2016; and to have been a finalist in The Food Awards London 2017. We keep our customers happy with not only the great quality of our cuisine, but we also run regular offers, such as our popular brunch deal, or our 50% off steak Mondays.

To continue our business expansion, we will use the money raised in this campaign to refurbish and redesign our current premises. We recently obtained a license to stay open later and are therefore planning to make the most of this by extending our popular party nights, with a bustling, Latin atmosphere and live music.

A. Management figures have just come in for year ending July 2019; T/O: £2.4M, GP: £1.4M, OP: £380,423. After the refurbishment I would expect turnover to be closer to £3M.

A. Sorry who is rajko’s ?

A. Hi jakob, the next lease review will be in 5 years which is open ended. You can see from the campaign we now have a 5 am licence on weekends. Hope this helps
