Architectural Wallsz specialise in contracting and project managing glass partition systems, glazed doors, and fire glass systems for commercial office workspaces. Having worked on projects in London, Madrid, Shanghai, and the USA, their products are recognised for their acoustic performance and aesthetically pleasing qualities. The money raised will be used to finance their existing contracts as they continue to expand their client list.

Innovating workspace interiors

Since 2013, Architectural Wallsz have been providing glass door solutions to businesses around the world. Our glass partition systems are tailor-made, with a choice of single or double glazing, framed or frameless, and sliding mechanics. We see each project through to completion, assigning a project manager to each job, and aim to innovate workspace locations and interiors.

Trading directly to businesses, we operate in a varied number of sectors. Case studies of ours include the Audi Car Dealership in Reading; Lululemon's office in Covent Garden, London; the Indian River Medical Centre in Florida; and Cirgenski + Capalino in New York, to name a few. Another key example of our work is a coffee roastery and cafe in Dalston, East London. Here we faced the challenge of keeping out sound from the roastery while maintaining and optimising the view of the production, keeping the cafe a relaxing environment with aesthetic charm.

We recently signed a contract with Warwick University and are constantly sourcing new projects and clients. Therefore, the funds raised in this campaign will go towards financing these contracts. With exciting plans on the horizon, your investment will help us take our business to the next level globally.

A. We have ceased trading with US Contracts and focus only on the UK. Interior fit-out generally lags any recession, therefore, we would not expect to see any downturn until 18 months after a recession starts. Currently the market is very strong

A. Our customer base is predominantly Main Contractors. Each Contract is stand alone, but we get repeat business from the Main Contractors on new projects

A. We are able to make interim valuations to our clients that allow us to fund the working capital requirements

A. Prior to the Bank crash, my business model was to acquire distressed businesses and turn them around. I acquired Apton Partitioning in 2003, a supply only company. In 2015, I sold the Apton business to overseas shareholders and started Architectural Wallsz as a supply and fit sub-contractor using Apton systems.

A. During the start up phase of the company, projects went up and down significantly, due to taking on work at the wrong margins. We are much more focussed on glazing projects with higher margins. In 2018 to date, we have achieved 33%

A. Approximately 50-60 Projects per annum. All our projects are one off new build or refurbishment, but we get repeat business from our Main Contractor clients

A. During the start up phase of the company, projects went up and down significantly, due to taking on work at the wrong margins. We are much more focussed on glazing projects with higher margins. In 2018 to date, we have achieved 33%

A. Net profit margin is forecast at 7.6% Overheads are made up of marketing, staff and travel costs to run the projects. Forecast Sales for year end March 2019 £1.4M with net profit at £106K
