Liteup Events are here to put on a show! Supplying the events and production industry with the best in equipment and innovation, they cover the live and private events including music, theatre, television, and so on, with creative solutions for rigging installation. Using the funds raised, Liteup Events will purchase new equipment, allowing them to fulfil their contracts and expand their equipment hire service.

Supplying the best productions in the industry

Liteup Events act on a vision for the biggest and best productions in the industry. We work across an extensive range of events, from music and live shows, such as concert touring and festivals, to TV, film, and stage productions, like theatre, dance, and opera. These can be as large as on a global scale, or as small and intimate as private or corporate events. We ensure everything is set by supplying lighting, video, and rigging support with innovative solutions to push the boundaries of what is possible production-wise. All our staff, made up of both freelance and full-time members, are fully trained in safe installation.

We've worked with an impressive array of clients. We have collaborated with many well-known music artists recently worked on; for example, we recently worked FE Live for the Chvrces Glasgow Show, with whom we have a long-standing relationship. Other names include the children's TV channel, Nickelodian, and top TV chef, James Martin. Our portfolio also contains numerous notable locations, like the Royal Albert Hall, Alexandra Palace, and the O2 Arena.

As well as the installation and operation of our equipment, which we have built up from manufacturers around the world, we also generate revenue by hiring it out. We will therefore use the money raised in this campaign to expand our stock and purchase further lights, screens, and high-end sound systems for upcoming events and as an investment.

A. We work with clients all over the world but mainly the UK and Europe. We like to build relationships with our clients so have a good retention of clients but also as we have grown have had to find new clients or find ways to grow our current clients. I would say it is 70% retained clients and 30% new clients.

A. I am unsure as to why the equifax score is this.

A. Not sure why C2F haven't put the link to our website in it is www.liteup.co.uk.

Liabilities are high due to asset finance which is largely lease purchase. We make money from renting equipment out so we need to stock a large amount of equipment. We have found this the best way to allow us to grow.

A. Our main finance is with Funding circle which was take on a 5year term ending in 3years. We also have some asset finance for some of our bigger purchases.

A. Its the term that was offered by C2F. We also like to pay back any fiance before the value of the equipment drops too low from a depreciation point of view.

A. The right people and equipment. Our industry is based around people and their work ethic. By us employing the right account handlers and purchasing the right equipment we have been able to grow rapidly.

A. Thank you. We have spent time planning and putting in place the right team and processes so we could cope with the T/O increase.
