Indie Brands are creating a market revolution by bringing inspiring liquor to lips, as young entrepreneurs buck the traditional corporate path and take advantage of lower barriers to designing, manufacturing and distributing their own products.
We are looking to raise a total of £250k, with our initial £100k to be used for working capital to support our UK growth and export development. The remaining £150k will be used to start the development our own portfolio of inspiring brands, allowing us to leverage our growing UK and international distribution platforms.

A. I'm sorry i missed this question Adam. We are currently trying to get a listing in Waitrose for later this year. Every tom dick and harry artisan brand wants to be in Waitrose so a listing is not without challenge but we have a good track record on our Brockmans brand in M&S and Oddbins so fingers crossed!
A. Our profit is relatively low at this stage because we have an on-going campaign of investment in sales & marketing personnel. We are looking to build extensive sales coverage across the UK that we can leverage. Sales resource typically takes around 6-8 months to operationally breakeven. We review our numbers in detail monthly so should they come under pressure we would look to immediately review this strategy to ensure we are more than capable of meeting our liabilities.
A. We have retail distribution through a network of around 180 independent specialist off-premise stores and on-line retailers. From a larger national retailer perspective M&S and Oddbins are customers. As our portfolio is quite premium and niche, most of our brands don't fit the supermarket space. We also supply most the UK’s leading regional and national wholesalers who in turn supply the bar community throughout the UK. Our sales team is active across the UK creating demand in these bars.
A. Yes we have year end management accounts with auditors pre Companies House filing. We don't anticipate material difference. T/O grew from £2.95m to £4.9m. Net profit £96k after Brexit f/x costs of £53k and one-off system & recruitment related costs of £29k. Please let me know if you need any more info.
